6-year-old rum, carefully aged in French oak barrels, was blended with one of the last rums produced at the historic &#8220;Engenho do Hinton&#8221;, which closed in 1985, making it one of the oldest rums to be sold on the market.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>Finally, the product that resulted from this exclusive combination of rums of different ages was subjected to a final 6-month ageing in a carefully selected 250L cask of ex-Scotland Peated Whisky.<\/p><p>\u00a0<\/p><p>The end result is a fantastic rum, full of history and offering a unique With a clean, intense and complex aromatic profile, it initially reveals some sweetness with notes of vanilla, caramel and dark chocolate, followed by nuances of smoked nuts, wood, toast, hay and tobacco.
